'One might ask the difference between those of us who practice the arcane arts of sorcery, and those madmen we call Sorcerers.
A Magister's practice is methodical, precise, and controlled. Our rituals are cooperative by necessity, lest the power we channel overwhelm us.
A Sorcerer is a practitioner who has forsaken caution and fellowship, sacrificing a portion of their soul in exchange for power.
They no longer channel as we do, so much as manifest their chosen Domain around them, shaping it through intuition and will.
It should go without saying that the cost of trading one's mortality to become a sentient gateway is extreme.
Almost all Sorcerers become Fiends eventually.'
