Here ends Chapter 2 of Sanguine Star! What a ride it has been so far!

Looking back at it, a distinct visual style and language has emerged quite organically as a result of my own artistic background and influences, and I'm incredibly proud of how immersive and atmospheric the panels have become.

Perhaps my biggest struggle with these first two chapters was the push/pull nature of trying to achieve dynamic, highly detailed, full colour pages on a tight weekly schedule. Moving forward with Chapter 3 and beyond I am leaning into quality over quantity - creating pages rich with environmental worldbuilding, with layers of deep history and symbolysm woven throughout. 

I want to thank you all for reading my weird little dark fantasy comic. After years of working creatively on other people's stories I'm finally telling my own. It has been a lot of work to get to this point, and there is much, much more to come. I hope you'll continue on Anaka's journey with me.
