'There are many ways by which we mortals interact with the arcane power of the fundamental domains.
Our bodies are the conduits through which power is expressed.
Sigils direct and shape the effects of the current.
Wards increase our attunement and resistance to raw power.
Gemstones store energy for later release.
Ritual magic requires multiple participants, each shaping and controlling fractions of dangerously complex combinations of sigils called Seals. This is the domain of magi and priests -
only the most egotistical and unhinged practitioners attempt this alone.
There are few who survive long enough to become powerful, and fewer who do not eventually become Fiends.
We call these madmen Sorcerers.'
